Registered Nurse (RN)
Full-Time & Part-Time AvailableYour Role
As a Registered Nurse with JC Caring, you'll provide skilled nursing care to medically fragile children in their homes. You'll assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, and serve as a clinical leader for the care team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administration of medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care for respiratory-dependent patients
- G-tube and other enteral feeding management
- Wound care and complex dressing changes
- Care plan development and documentation
- Family education and support
- Coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Current Georgia RN license (or compact state license)
- CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience (pediatric experience preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach

As an LPN with JC Caring, you'll provide hands-on nursing care to pediatric patients under RN supervision. You'll monitor patient conditions, administer medications, perform skilled procedures, and ensure the safety and comfort of the children in your care.
Responsibilities Include:
- Vital signs monitoring and patient observation
- Medication administration (oral, injectable, topical, inhaled)
- Tracheostomy care including suctioning and routine tube care
- G-tube feeding administration and site care
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Documentation and care reporting
- Patient and family education
- Collaboration with RN supervisors and care team
Qualifications:
- Current Georgia LPN license (or compact state license)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Previous nursing experience (pediatric preferred but will train the right candidate)
- Reliable transportation

- Mobility assistance, transfers, and positioning
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Range of motion exercises as delegated
- Vital signs monitoring
- Companionship and engagement activities
- Accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- Current Georgia CNA certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with pediatric or special needs populations preferred

- Assistance with daily living activities
- Meal preparation and feeding support
- Light housekeeping related to patient care
- Accompaniment to appointments and activities
- Engagement in play, reading, and developmental activities
- Monitoring and reporting changes to nursing staff
- Following personalized care plans
- Building trusting, supportive relationships with children and families
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PCA certification or willingness to complete training
- CPR certification (we can help you obtain this)
- Previous experience with children or caregiving preferred
- Reliable transportation
